PRIVATE LIFE GROUP EXHIBTION

We are proud to share PRIVATE LIFE, a new group art exhibition in London, featuring the work of 14 incredible artists from across the world.

PRIVATE LIFE featured a diverse range of works, including sculptures and paintings, that explore the personal and hidden aspects of life. It showcased a great variety of techniques and innovative styles, offering a fresh perspective on contemporary art.

Once again, we’re returned to the gritty and charming exhibition space of 82a Commercial Street – a space rich in character and history. What began as an underground toilet in the early 20th century and later evolved into the infamous PUBLIC LIFE nightclub in the 2000s, continues to offer a raw and gritty backdrop that perfectly complements the theme of the exhibition. The echoes of its past still resonate through its walls.

PRIVATE LIFE as a theme leaves the door open to interpretation from each artist. What’s particularly compelling is how art, often a deeply private and intimate expression created in the solitude of a studio, suddenly transforms when it’s displayed in a public setting. The shift from being alone with your thoughts to having your work displayed and critiqued publicly can be deeply exposing. This show captures that transition, showcasing how personal creativity interacts with public scrutiny.
